RE: Student Tasered at campus forum for Kerry
It is unbelievable that people could possibly think that asking questions at a political rally, in a country that claims free speech for its citizens as its hallmark of freedom; is a taserable offense – this is unbounded ignorance.
What hope is there of democracy and liberty when the citizens are not outraged by violent acts committed against their fellow man; but in fact consider it a form of entertainment?
The world perceives us as a country full of ignorant people and we continue to demonstrate the correctness of their perceptions daily both in our speech and in our actions.
Is it not high time we changed?
